I just wanted to say thanks for the great website...
My name is Mike Scheele aka Mike Mitchell...nighttime host from 1987-1990...
I was hired right out of college in 1987 by Bill St. John.
I did 7- midnight, did sports in the morning at 570WAAX with Pruett in the morning and on the Q with St. John, Larry Logan and Rick Knighten and sports with Leo in the afternoon.
I also had my own tv dance show on the CBS affiliate out of Anniston and hosted my radio show for 2 years at Dukes in the Holiday Inn in Attala" Saturday Night Live" ....
I now teach 8th grade science here in Atlanta...
(I've taught school now 13 years , 11 in Tampa and 2 here in Atlanta).
those 3 years at the Q were awesome .
